Speaker Rewaz Faiq meets with Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on the evening of 27 April met with Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani at the Presidency. They discussed the latest developments and agreed on the need for unity to overcome the current crises.

Speaker Faiq and President Barzani discussed the situation in the Kurdistan Region, the political process and the need for unity between Kurdistan’s political parties in the face of today’s challenges and hardships. Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation between the three presidencies of the Kurdistan Region.

They also exchanged views on the situation in Iraq in general, relations between Erbil and Baghdad, and solving the outstanding issues between Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government.
