Kurdistan Parliament’s Presidency led by Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 24 October 2021 met with the Head of the EU Liaison Office in Erbil Ms. Marie Paret and the consuls of several EU member states. They discussed the human rights in Kurdistan Region.

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewaz Faiq calls MPs to a sitting on Tuesday 26th October 2021 at 11am, the fourth ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the third year of the fifth term of Parliament. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 24 October 2021 met with Mr. Joshua A. Lewis, Political Economic Officer at the US Consulate General in Kurdistan Region. They discussed the recent Iraqi election and the current post-election talks, and the general political situation in Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 19 October met with Jordan's Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Fuad Al-Majali. They discussed more cooperation between the Hashmite Kingdom of Jordan and Kurdistan Region in several areas, and the current post-Iraqi election possibilities.

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 17 October welcomed a delegation of academics, researchers and journalists from Germany. They discussed the work of the Kurdistan Parliament, the recent Iraqi general election, and the political and economic situation in Kurdistan and the wider region.

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 3 October met with a delegation from Sweden’s Left Party, led by MP Hakan Svenneling. They discussed developing relations with the Swedish Parliament, to benefit from each other’s legislative experience.

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 26 September welcomed Mr. Fuad Khazir Salih Al-Majali, Jordan's new Consul General to Kurdistan Region. They discussed the forthcoming Iraqi election and the excellent historic relationship between Kurdistan Region and Jordan.

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 23 September welcomed Spain’s new Ambassador to Iraq, Pedro Martinez-Avial Martin. They discussed developing inter-parliamentary relations and the importance of commercial and cultural exchanges between Kurdistan Region and Spain.
