The Kurdistan Parliament on 26 October 2021 discussed the problems and demands of non-contract teachers and problems with fuel and gasoline.

Kurdistan Parliament’s Presidency led by Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 24 October 2021 met with the Head of the EU Liaison Office in Erbil Ms. Marie Paret and the consuls of several EU member states. They discussed the human rights in Kurdistan Region.

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewaz Faiq calls MPs to a sitting on Tuesday 26th October 2021 at 11am, the fourth ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the third year of the fifth term of Parliament. Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 3 October 2021 welcomed a delegation from Sweden’s Left Party, led by MP Hakan Svenneling. They discussed their parliamentary systems, forging relations between the two parliaments and the current political and economic situation.

Today we commemorate the passing four years ago of President Mam Jalal Talabani, the last great leader of our nation, the leader and irreplaceable politician, the symbol of brotherhood and unity of all the different religions and nations of Iraq and Kurdistan, a man of co-existence, discussion and negotiation, of great character and charisma, who brought together all the different perspectives.

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 26 September chaired a workshop on the Bill on Electronic Transactions, organized by Parliament’s research centre.

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 26 September welcomed France’s new Ambassador to Iraq Eric Chevallier. They discussed the latest political developments, inter-parliamentary relations, the late Madame Danielle Mitterrand, and the early Iraqi election.

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 23 September welcomed Spain’s new Ambassador to Iraq, Pedro Martinez-Avial Martin. They discussed the strong development and progress made by Kurdistan Region, and strengthening relations with Spain in many areas.

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 21 September met with the UAE’s Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Ahmed Aldhaheri.  They discussed the good bilateral relationship and women in decision-making positions in Kurdistan’s institutions.
