Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq announced the end of the current spring session of Parliament, and the start of a one-month Parliament recess. The summer recess is usually two months long, from the start of July to the end of August, but this year the recess was delayed and the spring session was extended by a month until 31 July.

Parliament passes first amendments to Law on Rights of Persons with Disabilities
Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 8 July presided over a sitting in which MPs passed the first amendments to the Law on Rights and Privileges of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs, with 81 votes. MPs also passed two other bills.
Parliament holds second reading of first amendments to Law on Rights of Persons with Disabilities
