Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami welcomes Iran’s new Consul General Mr. Nasrollah Zar’a Rashnoudi

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami on 7th August welcomed Iran’s new Consul General in Erbil, Mr. Nasrollah Zar’a Rashnoudi. Mr. Hawrami and Mr. Rashnoudi discussed strengthening relations between Kurdistan Region and Iran in many areas.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami congratulated Mr. Rashnoudi on his appointment as the new Consul General in Erbil, and the Consul General conveyed his best wishes to the new Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament.

Mr. Hawrami said that Kurdistan Region and Iran enjoy peaceful relations, with a shared history and shared border. He hoped that they will develop further economic, cultural and parliamentary ties, for the benefit of the people of both Kurdistan Region and Iran.

Mr. Rashnoudi shared the Deputy Speaker’s hopes to develop relations in areas of mutual interest.

Mr. Rashnoudi was accompanied by a delegation from the Consulate General.
