Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq calls MPs to first sitting of Parliament's autumn session

29 August - The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewas Faiq calls MPs to an ordinary sitting to open the autumn session of Parliament, on Sunday 1st September at 11am.

The legislature is currently in the first year of the Fifth Term, which is the four-year period that started after the September 2018 general election.

The Speaker announces the sitting under Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, Article 7 (paragraph 1) and Article 18 (paragraph 3).

The autumn session is from the start of September to the end of December, per the rules of procedure.
