Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq welcomes Iran's new Consul General who invites Kurdistan's MPs to visit Iran's Parliament

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq on 7th August welcomed Iran’s new Consul General in Erbil, Mr. Nasrollah Zar’a Rashnoudi. Mr. Rashnoudi issued a formal invitation to the Presidency of Parliament and MPs to visit Iran's Parliament, the Islamic Consultative Assembly. 

Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami and Secretary Muna Kahveci in separate meetings also congratulated the new Consul General on assuming his duties.

Speaker Faiq said that the Kurdistan Parliament appreciated Iran’s assistance to the people of Kurdistan in periods of hardship and war in the past.  

The Consul congratulated Speaker Faiq and the other members of the Presidency on their election to the leadership of Parliament. The Consul said that Iran hopes to develop closer economic, cultural and educational ties between their countries.
