Secretary Kahveci welcomes Turkish-Iraqi Industrialists and Businessmen Association

Kurdistan Parliament Secretary Muna Kahveci on 8 December 8 received a delegation from the Turkish-Iraqi Industrialists and Businessmen Association, led by the head Mr. Nafaf Klic.

Secretary Kahveci pointed to the key role of the components in the Kurdistan Region, especially the Turkmen and their presence in key government positions. She said, “We refute any allegations about the marginalization of the Turkmen components in the Kurdistan Region, as Turkmen actively participate in decision-making in the Kurdistan Parliament and in the Regional Government.”

The delegation commended the peaceful coexistence between all components in the Kurdistan Region. The association invited Secretary Kahveci to attend their conference in Mersin, Turkey which takes place on 18-20 December.
