Health, Environment and Consumer Rights Committee meets Head of Environment Protection Authority

27 July - The Health, Environment and Consumer Rights Committee, led by vice chair Ms. Shayan Kaka Salih (Change Movement), on 27th July met the Head of the KRG Environmental Protection and Improvement Authority, Dr. Hallo Askari, at the authority’s offices.

Dr. Askari thanked the committee and pledged to continue making every effort to improve Kurdistan’s environment. The committee wished him success in carrying out environmental reforms and said that they will work with the authority to achieve the goals. The committee said that if necessary, they will work on modifying the Kurdistan Region Law on Protection of the Environment (2008).
