MPs and staff take training courses on minority and human rights, citizen participation, protocol
The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 29th July presented certificates to MPs and Parliament staff for completing a five-day training course on the European Convention on Human Rights, minority rights, citizen participation, and parliamentary protocol.
Speaker Faiq, together with Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami, Secretary Muna Kahveci, and Germany’s Consul General Ms. Barbara Wolf presented the certificates to those who completed the training. In total, 79 MPs, advisers and secretaries of parliamentary committees took the courses.
The training was organised by Parliament’s Research Centre with the European Technology Training Center (ETTC), an independent NGO. The Adenauer Stiftung Foundation, a German political foundation and think tank, sponsored the courses.
