President Nechirvan Barzani congratulates new Speaker of Parliament Dr. Rewas Faiq

On the election of Dr. Rewas Faiq as Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani sent Dr. Faiq a congratulatory letter:

“On the occasion of your election as Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament, I congratulate you and wish you and the Parliament success in your work. The Kurdistan Parliament has played a major role in establishing the legal rights of the people of Kurdistan and in organizing civic and administrative life in the Region, through the enactment of the necessary laws and resolutions.

I hope that through your parliamentary experience and cooperation with all the parliamentary blocs that greater service will be given to the Kurdistan Region now and in the future. We in the Presidency of the Region reiterate our support and cooperation with Parliament and Government so that you succeed in performing your duties and in developing the democratic process in the region.”
