Parliament's Presidency meets Minister Falah Mustafa, KRG’s Head of Foreign Relations
Parliament's Presidency on 19th May held meetings with Minister Falah Mustafa, the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Head of the Department of Foreign Relations.
Dr. Vala Fareed, Speaker of Parliament, and Hemin Hawrami, Deputy Speaker, met Minister Mustafa who congratulated them on Parliament’s new fifth term. They discussed the importance of concrete relations between Kurdistan Region, its neighbours and other countries to serve Kurdistan’s interests.
Parliament’s Presidency said they greatly appreciated the DFR’s work to strengthen relations with the foreign diplomatic missions here, and are ready to cooperate with the KRG and the DFR in particular to strengthen Kurdistan’s international ties, including with other Parliaments. Minister Mustafa said that the DFR is ready to support the Kurdistan Parliament in building its links with other parliaments of other countries.
Minister Mustafa was accompanied by senior staff of the Department of Foreign Relations.
