Parliament’s Presidency conveys best wishes to Muslims on Mawlood, the Prophet's birthday

On the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament congratulated Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq and around the world, in the following statement:

We the Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament convey our best wishes to Muslims on the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and we hope that this happy occasion becomes an opportunity to follow the Prophet’s humanitarian principles.

As stated in the Koran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a model of morality and humanity. We ask Almighty God to spread joy, peace and harmony among the people of Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, and we ask that this celebration becomes an opportunity for peace and coexistence in Iraq, the Middle East and the world.
