Kurdistan Parliament’s presidency convey condolences on passing of former MP, Mrs. Ahang Aref

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewas Faiq and Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami on 6 October wrote to the family of Mrs. Ahang Aref, a former MP, who has passed away. Mrs. Aref served in the Kurdistan Parliament’s Third Term, from 2009 to 2012.

“We are sorry to learn of the passing of Mrs. Ahang Aref, Member of the Kurdistan Parliament in the third term. She was known of her commitment and loyalty in her work as an engineer, as a UN employee and as Member of the Kurdistan Parliament.  Mrs. Aref was one of the distinguished members for her activities during her term of office as MP. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family. May her soul rest her in peace.”
