Parliament's Presidency announces order of business for sitting on 23 October 2019

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament announces the order of business for the sitting of Wednesday 23rd October at 11am - the fifth sitting of the autumn session of the first year of the Kurdistan Parliament’s fifth term.

1) First readings of the following bills, per articles 79, 80 and 82 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure:

1. Bill on a quality control and assurance organization in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
2. Bill on development of families in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
3. Bill on public prosecutors in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
4. Bill on public prosecutors in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
5. Bill on rights and privileges of people with disabilities in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
6. Proposal for resolution on protection of teachers and educational leaders in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.

2) Second reading of the bill on ownership of lands that have been illegally used or taken in the municipalities of the Kurdistan Region – Iraq, per articles 87, 88 and 89 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Articles 16 (paragraphs 1, 2), 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) 54 (paragraphs 1 and 5) and Articles 47, 48, 52, 55, 56 and 57.
