Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq: I ask people of Kurdistan to support campaign to help Rojava refugees

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr Rewas Faiq on 21 October visited the Hawary Nishtiman (Nation’s Call) campaign in Erbil, which has been organized by civil society associations to raise donations for the refugees of Rojava, Western Kurdistan.

Dr. Faiq said that within the Kurdistan Parliament’s 12 recommendations that were overwhelmingly passed by MPs on 15 October, Parliament is ready to support the campaign morally and financially, and she asked the people of Kurdistan to support the campaign too. Speaker Faiq also asked MPs to respond to the campaign and help the refugees of Rojava.

Dr Faiq also advised the campaign organizers to abide by legal procedures, and to cooperate with the relevant authorities so that they do not face legal problems in their campaign.
