Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq visits Kurdish Academy to congratulate new leadership of its board

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq on 21 October met with the Kurdish Academy to congratulate their newly elected presidency board in Erbil. 

Speaker Faiq expressed her support for the Kurdish Academy’s new board, adding that the organization is an important centre for research on the Kurdish language and Parliament will do all it can to support it.

The Kurdish Academy’s president Dr. Abdul Fattah Botani thanked the Speaker for her support. The Vice President Dr. Nejat Abdullah said that the meeting is very important for the academy’s board because it shows that Kurdish political leaders care about Kurdish language and literature.

The Parliament Speaker has a tour of the Kurdish Academy, including the library and centre for documents and Manuscripts.
