Parliament’s Energy Committee heads meet US Consulate officials

The chair, vice chair and rapporteur of Kurdistan Parliament’s Energy, Natural Resources, Commerce and Industry Committee on 4 September welcomed officials from the US Consulate in Erbil: Mr. Andrew Lentz, the Head of Political Affairs; and Dr. Marisa Smip, the Head of Economic Affairs.

The committee members and the US Consulate officials discussed the latest developments in the talks between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi federal government on the oil and gas sector.

The energy committee heads at the meeting were the chair Balen Esmail Haji (Change), vice chair Gulizar Rashid Haji (KDP) and rapporteur Sarko Azad Hussein (PUK).
