Kurdistan, the region, and the world are now in dire straits against the deadly Corona virus and in the face of its human and economic consequences. Since the outbreak of the disease in Kurdistan Region, the Kurdistan Parliament has been working through special committees and in cooperation with government agencies to tackle the contagious disease.

We thank all the organizations and individuals who have contributed so much to this campaign to contain the coronavirus, especially the security and healthcare institutions. We also thank the people of Kurdistan who have adhered to the lockdown conditions and health measures.

We hope to overcome this difficult period as soon as possible, through the cooperation, empathy and patriotism of the public and the government. This crisis is an epidemic and it is ultimately up to all of us to overcome it together by protecting ourselves and everyone in society.
