Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee’s statement on the handing over and execution of Mostafa Salimi

Kurdistan Parliament's Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee expressed their grave concern about the handing over of Mostafa Salimi, a Kurd from Iran, allegedly when he was in the Kurdistan Region in Iraq, and his subsequent execution in Iran. The committtee issued the following statement on 11 April.

We the Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee of the Kurdistan Parliament are deeply concerned by the handing over of Mostafa Salimi to Iranian forces and his subsequent execution.

We call on the facts of the case to be revealed. We support the Kurdistan Regional Government’s procedures and the investigating committee. We ask them to investigate the events impartially and professionally and to make their findings public on this political and humanitarian case.
