Speaker Rewaz Faiq welcomes Kurdistan Platform for National Issues

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 21 December welcomed Dr. Avesta Kamal, supervisor of the Kurdistan Platform for National Issues.

Members of Kurdistan Platform's administrative council also attended the meeting.

Speaker Faiq said, "Kurdistan and Iraq are currently going through a period of instability. The people of Kurdistan and Iraq are living anxiously with this instability, and its impact must be taken into account. It is undeniable that the only option left for the public is to express their dissatisfaction, and that they don’t see any other way to convey their legitimate demands and desires.”  

She added, “We hope that this period of multiple crises will be over soon.”

The members of Kurdistan Platform National Issues’ administrative council gave their views on how increase the public’s legal literacy and promote the culture and principles of democracy and nationalism.
