Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker welcomes Dr. Jaffar Ibrahim Eminki

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami on 18 February welcomed Dr. Jaffar Ibrahim Eminki, the Head of the Board of Advisers to Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani.

Dr. Eminki was the Deputy Speaker of Parliament in the previous fourth term, from 2013 to 2018.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami briefed Dr. Eminki on the Kurdistan Region’s participation in the Munich Security Conference and their important meetings with many foreign ministers and other senior officials.

Mr. Hawrami and Dr. Eminki discussed the latest developments in Kurdistan and Iraq, and the efforts to form a new Iraqi cabinet. They both emphasized the importance of upholding Kurdistan’s legal rights in the new cabinet.
