Protection of Women's Rights Committee and NGO discuss holding conference on factors for marital break-up and successful marriage

Kurdistan Parliament’s Committee on Protection of Women's Rights, led by the chair Ms. Lanja Dizayee (KDP), welcomed the staff of Awaz (Reason), a research NGO.

They discussed how to organise a conference on the factors that drive marital break-ups and successful marriages.

The conference, which they hope to hold in April, is expected to feature six different areas of research and participants will include sociologists, legal experts, academics and civil society organisations.
