Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq meets with representatives of Ranya

4 February - The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewas Faiq welcomed representatives of the town of Ranya and heard their concerns and complaints.

They complained about the tax office’s collection of income tax and housing tax.

Speaker Faiq commended the people of Ranya for their important role in protecting Kurdistan’s achievements.

The Speaker said, "The Government of Kurdistan must not hesitate to help the people of Ranya. We also call on relevant committees to carry out the necessary research in this area."

The representatives of Ranya's residents thanked the Speaker and said that they hope for their complaints to be addressed as soon as possible.
