Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq meets with survivors of the Anfal Genocide

4 February - Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq received survivors of the Anfal Genocide. They called on the Kurdistan Parliament to amend the Law on the Rights of Genocide Survivors (Law No. 9 of 2015).

Speaker Faiq said, "We hold dear the survivors of the Anfal Genocide, and we are working to meet your demands in coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government.”

The genocide survivors asked the Speaker to look into their request as soon as possible.
