Speaker Rewas Faiq welcomes Dr. Jaffar Ibrahim Eminki

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq on 18 February welcomed Dr. Jaffar Ibrahim Eminki, the Head of the Board of Advisers to Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani.

Dr. Eminki was the Deputy Speaker of Parliament in the previous fourth term, from 2013 to 2018.

Speaker Faiq and Dr. Eminki discussed the work and coordination between Parliament’s Presidency and the Presidency of the Region. They reviewed the latest developments and political situation in Iraq as well as Kurdistan Region, and the formation of the new Iraqi cabinet.

They agreed on working together closely and having a unified stance on any political developments in Iraq and the wider region.
