Parliament committees look into death of Majid Haruti
Peshmerga Committee
19 January- The committee, led by the chair Mr. Reving Heruri (KDP), discussed the case of the death of Majid Haruti. The MPs decided to set up a subcommittee to examine the case and submit their report to Parliament’s Presidency based on the evidence and information gathered.
The committee suggested that the parliamentary parties coordinate their work better, so that cases can be studied and resolved more quickly. The committee also thought that the parliamentary parties should advise their members to avoid commenting on such cases without their parties’ permission.
