Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq congratulates Kurdistani Nwe newspaper on 29th anniversary

On the 29th anniversary of the launch of Kurdistani Nwe (New Kurdistan) newspaper, Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq congratulated the editor, members of the editorial board, and all the journalists of Kurdistan in this letter:

Dear Editor, Editorial Board, journalists of Kurdistani Nwe, and all journalists in Kurdistan,

On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the publication of your first issue, I extend my warmest congratulations. Kurdistani Nwe was the first Kurdish newspaper to be published after the 1991 Uprising. Your newspaper has played a very important role in keeping the people of Kurdistan informed and in protecting our national ideals and philosophy. The message of your newspaper has always been peace and coexistence in Kurdistan - Iraq.

Once again I congratulate you on this occasion and hope that you will remain at the forefront of free thought and expression.
