Secretary Muna Kahveci congratulates Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on their 45th anniversary

Kurdistan Parliament Secretary Muna Kahveci on 1 June congratulated the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) on their 45th anniversary, in the following message:

On the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Supreme Political Council, the General Leadership Council, your members and supporters, and I wish you continued success in your work.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has struggled valiantly in Kurdistan’s history of war for liberty. I hope that this anniversary is an opportunity to advance your work and the democratic and political process, and encourages Kurdistan Region’s political forces to be united, for the sake of stability, peace, friendship, co-existence between diverse ethnic and religious communities, and the welfare of the people of Kurdistan.
