Speaker Rewas Faiq’s communications office clarifies her Coronavirus quarantine

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Rewas Faiq’s communications office on 28 March issued the following clarification regarding her quarantine:

After Speaker Faiq’s return from abroad on 14 March, as well as complying with Coronavirus health regulations and initial tests at Erbil International Airport on 16 March, she decided to put herself into quarantine from the day of her return. Today, after completing the 14 recommended days of quarantine, complying with all of the health measures and testing negative for the Coronavirus, Dr. Faiq has come out of quarantine.

We ask the public to comply with the Coronavirus containment measures and we wish a speedy and complete recovery to those who have fallen ill with the virus.
