Deputy Speaker Hawrami conveys best wishes to Yazidis on 27th anniversary of Lalish Cultural Centre

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami on 12 May congratulated the Lalish Centre for Yazidi culture on their 27th anniversary:

On the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Lalish Cultural and Social Centre, my best wishes go out to all Yazidis. The centre has served the Yazidis culturally and socially over the years, and we hope that in the future it will work for peaceful coexistence between all the diverse religious and ethnic communities in Kurdistan. 

Kurdistan has been a place of peaceful coexistence between different peoples, and we in the Kurdistan Parliament have made every effort to ensure that all the communities in Kurdistan enjoy their full rights. To reflect and enshrine this peaceful coexistence, in the future we hope to have our own Constitution.
