Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq’s message on third commemoration of death of Nawshirwan Mustafa

On the third anniversary of the death of Nawshirwan Mustafa, the Kurdish politician and intellectual, we honour his name and memory. 

The death of this great thinker and leader in our nation’s history caused irreparable damage to the political process in Kurdistan and Iraq. 

Throughout his years of struggle, he prioritized the national rights of the Kurdish people, and his views are now becoming more important.

We honour the memory of the engineer of the Kurdish people’s uprising, Nawshirwan Mustafa.
