Order of Business for sitting of 25th November 2020

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament calls MPs to a sitting on Wednesday 25th November 2020 at 11am, the tenth ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the second year of Kurdistan Parliament’s fifth term. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:

1) Reading, discussion and debate on the report by Parliament’s Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee on youth emigration, in the presence of the KRG Minister of Youth and Culture Mohammad Said Ali, per Article 66 (paragraph 1) of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.

2) Reading of the report by the ad hoc follow-up committee that was formed under Resolution No. 8 of 2020 [to look into the allegation by Dr. Kazim Faruq Namiq, the head of the New Generation Movement parliamentary block, of threats against him from other MPs].

3) Second reading of the Bill on the Sale and Lease of Public Assets in Kurdistan Region, per articles 87, 88 and 89 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52, 54, 55, 56 and 57.
