Order of Business for Sitting of 30 November 2020
The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament calls MPs to a sitting on Monday 30th November 2020 at 11am, the 11th ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the second year of Kurdistan Parliament’s fifth term. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:
- First readings of the following bills, per articles 79 and 80 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure:
- Bill on Education and Study in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
- First amendments to Law on Private Universities in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
- Reading and discussion about the reports by the Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee and the Culture, Civil Society, Sports and Youth Committee on youth emigration, in the presence of the relevant Kurdistan Regional Government ministers, per Article 66 (paragraph 1) of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.
- Speech by MP Shno Ashqi Abdullah (PUK) on providing job opportunities in Kurdistan Region, per Article 49 (paragraph 1, subparagraph 2).
The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52, 54, 55, 56 and 57.
