Deputy Speaker Hawrami conveys condolences on passing of Dr. Shafiq Qazzaz

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami on 23 October conveyed his condolences on the passing of Dr. Shafiq Qazzaz:

I was saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Shafiq Qazzaz, the well known Kurdish writer, politician and academic. 

Shafiq Qazzaz at all stages of his life was on the side of the revolution, defended the rights of the people of Kurdistan, and gave his services to writing and culture. He was also a representative of the revolution and through diplomacy he worked to achieve the wishes of the Kurdish people.

On this sad occasion, we offer our condolences to his family and relatives.
