Order of Business for sitting of 27 October 2020
The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament calls MPs to a sitting on Monday 27th October 2020 at 2pm – the ninth ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the second year of the Kurdistan Parliament’s fifth term. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:
1) First reading of bills, per articles 79 and 80 of Parliament’s internal rules of procedure:
- Bill on conservation of water networks and water resources in Kurdistan Region - Iraq.
- Bill on water conservation and management in Kurdistan Region - Iraq.
2) Nomination and vote on MP Mr. Omar Abdullah Fattah (Kurdistan Islamic Group) to membership of the Finance and Economic Affairs Committee, according to articles 28 and 34 of Parliament’s internal rules of procedure.
3) Debate on the questions to and answers of the KRG Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy [at the sitting of 5 October 2020], according articles 70, 71 and 73 of Parliament’s internal rules of procedure.
The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraphs 1, 2), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52, 54, 55, 56 and 57.
