Speaker Faiq conveys condolences on passing of Kaka Mam Botani

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 25 October expressed her condolences on the passing of Kaka Mam Botani, the head of the Kurdish Writers Union, to his family and relatives, the Kurdish Writers Union and intellectuals of Kurdistan, in the following message:

I was saddened to learn of the passing of the great Kurdish intellectual and writer, Kaka Mam Botani, the leader of Kurdish Writers Union. For more than half a century, he used his knowledge to serve and develop Kurdish language, literature and thought. The passing of this great writer is a great loss to the Kurdish library. On this sad occasion, my condolences go out to his family, relatives, the Kurdish Writers Union, and all intellectuals of Kurdistan. God rest his soul.
