Order of business for sitting of 2 September 2020, opening of Autumn Session
The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament calls MPs to a sitting on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 at 1pm – the first ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the second year of the
Kurdistan Parliament’s fifth term. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:
- One minute’s silence in honour of the martyrs of Kurdistan and Iraq, and playing of the Kurdistan national anthem.
- Opening of the autumn session of Parliament by the Speaker, per Article 7 (paragraphs 1 and 2) and Article 18 (paragraph 3) of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.
- Address by the Speaker on the opening of the autumn session of Parliament.
- Second reading of the Bill on Patients’ Rights and Responsibilities in Kurdistan Region, per articles 87, 88 and 89 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.
- First reading of the Bill on the Sale and Lease of Public Assets in Kurdistan Region - Iraq, per Article 83 (paragraph 1) of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.
The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament announces this sitting according to Article 18 (paragraph 3) of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.
The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16th (paragraphs 1, 2), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52, 54, 55, 56 and 57.
