Deputy Speaker Hawrami congratulates Iraqi Communist Party on 87th anniversary

Dear Secretary and members of the Central Committee, members of the Political Bureau,

I congratulate you, your members and supporters on the 87th anniversary of your party’s founding, and wish you success.

The Iraqi Communist Party ever since its founding has always fought relentlessly against oppression and made great sacrifices and continues to do so today, being as relevant now in Iraq as it was historically.

Today Iraq needs more than ever civil action, stability and unity between all the political parties, and yours, as a long-established party of resistance, has an important role to play in achieving these goals. I have no doubt that you can have an effective role and position now just you had in the past.
