Order of business for sitting 21 April 2021

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewaz Faiq calls MPs to a sitting on Wednesday 21st April 2021 at 12pm, the ninth ordinary sitting of the spring session of the third year of the fifth term of Parliament. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:

1) Continuation of the second reading of the Bill on Management and Protection of Archeology and Heritage in Kurdistan Region - Iraq), per articles 87, 88 and 89 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.

2) Vote on the following bills and resolutions, according to the court of articles per articles 90, 91, 93, 96 and 97 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure:

i) Draft Resolution on designating a Kurdish Journalism Day in Kurdistan Region - Iraq. 

ii) Bill on Conservation of Water and Wastewater Networks in Kurdistan Region - Iraq.

3) The resignation and appointment of these honourable members in the standing committees of the Kurdistan Parliament, per articles 28 and 34 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure:

1. Resignation of MP Zana Mala Khalid Ismail (KDP) from the Committee on Social Affairs and Protection of Human Rights.
2. Resignation of MP Gulistan Baqi Sleman (Niheli) (KDP) from the Committee on Agriculture and Irrigation and her appointment to the Committee on Social Affairs and Protection of Human Rights.
3. Appointment of MP Halkawt Anwar Khalifa (KDP) to the Committee on Agriculture and Irrigation and the Integrity Committee.
4. Appointment MP Sabah Mahmoud Mohammad as the member of the committee on Integrity.
5. Resignation of MP Sarchnar Ahmed Mahmood (KIU) from the Municipalities, Transport, Communication, Travel and Tourism Committee.
6. Resignation of MP Abubakr Omar Abdullah (Haladny) (KIU) from the Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee and his appointment to theMunicipalities, Transport, Communication, Travel and Tourism Committee.
7. Resignation of MP Halz Ahmed Mohammed Hasan (Botani) (KIU) from theAgriculture and Irrigation Committee and her appointment to the Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee.

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraph 1), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52, 54, 55, 56 and 57.
