Speaker Rewaz Faiq meets with Turkey's Consul General Hakan Karacay

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq welcomed Hakan Karacay, Turkey's Consul General Consul in the Kurdistan Region.

They exchanged best wishes for the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaker Faiq and Consul General Karacay discussed the recent agreement between Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi Federal Government on the 2021 budget, the reestablishment of Kurdistan Region's share in that budget and emphasized the importance of both sides' commitment to the agreement.

They also exchanged views about the economic and political situation and relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey, and reaffirmed strengthening of their ties.
