Culture Committee holds workshop in Slemani on Bill on Preservation of Documents, Manuscripts and National Archives

Parliament’s Culture Committee on 12 May held a workshop in Slemani on the Bill on Preservation of Documents, Manuscripts and National Archives, organized by the NGO Humanitarian Cooperation.

Committee chair Salma Fatih (PUK), committee adviser Majid Salih and several experts on history, archives, manuscripts and preservation of documents gave their views on the details of the bill. The Parliament committee will use the experts’ feedback to improve and enrich the draft legislation.

The workshop was held at the Titanic Hotel in Slemani.
