On the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Women's Union, I congratulate the Secretary, members of the Secretariat and all members of your union.

Since your organization's founding, the Kurdistan Women's Union have always been pioneers of activism in the battle against injustice and the struggle for equality, have guided communities by raising awareness of societal issues, and have been actively involved in all areas to achieve women's rights.
