Order of Business for extraordinary sitting of 6 January 2021

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament calls MPs to the first extraordinary sitting of the third year of the fifth term of the Kurdistan Parliament on Wednesday 6th January 2021 at 11am, per Article 8 (paragraph 1) of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:

1) Vote on Kamal Abdulhamid Abdulrahman for the post of Minister of Natural Resources in the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, per Article 56 (paragraph 4) of the amended Kurdistan Parliament Election Law (Law No. 1 of 1992).

2) Vote on the Bill on the Sale and Lease of Public Assets in Kurdistan Region – Iraq, per articles 90, 91, 93, 96 and 97 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.

The Presidency of Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52 (paragraph 1), 54, 55, 56 and 57.
