Deputy Speaker Hawrami meets Berlin State Parliament MP Hakan Tas

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 15 June welcomed Mr. Hakan Tash, a Member of Berlin's City-State Parliament. 

Dr. Hawrami thanked Germany for its assistance to Kurdistan Region in many areas, including its decisive support in the war against ISIS and helping Parliament with capacity-building.

Mr. Tash commended the Kurdistan Parliament for the high ratio of women MPs and for the leadership positions that women hold in Parliament's Presidency. Mr. Tash is originally from north Kurdistan. 

Deputy Speaker Hawrami briefed Mr. Tash on Kurdistan Parliament's make-up, parties and seats reserved for Christian, Armenian and Turkmen MPs.
