Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq chairs meeting of legislation database committee

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 7 March chaired a meeting of the committee on the creation of the legislation database. Parliament Secretary Muni Kahveci took part in the meeting.

The participants discussed the latest developments, current status and many difficulties and challenges that have arisen several times in trying to create the Kurdistan Region legislation database, and the Speaker gave recommendations on several technical issues.

The committee is expected to soon ask legal experts, MPs, academics and the public for their views and input on facilitating searches for the latest amendments to laws that have been passed in the five terms of the Kurdistan Parliament.
