Secretary Muna Kahveci congratulates Muslims on Eid of Ramadan

On this blessed Eid of Ramadan (Eid Al-Fitr), my warmest wishes go out to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, and especially to the proud families of Kurdistan’s martyrs and to the brave Peshmerga of Kurdistan. I pray that God accepts your fasting and prayers.

I hope that this holy celebration is an opportunity to strengthen political unity and reconciliation, to overcome differences, to better serve the citizens of Kurdistan, and to strengthen the principles of  love, forgiveness, acceptance and peaceful coexistence between different ethnic and religious communities in Kurdistan Region.

I ask everyone in Kurdistan to follow the measures to protect themselves and others from the Coronavirus. The only way to overcome the Coronavirus is to follow the health guidelines. I wish for good health and safety for everyone.

Congratulations again on this blessed Eid of Ramadan to all Muslims in the Kurdistan Region.
