Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami welcomes Czech Republic’s new Ambassador Petr Stepanek

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 22 November 2021 welcomed Ambassador Petr Stepanek, the Czech Republic’s new envoy to Iraq, and wished him success in his new posting.

Dr. Hawrami and Ambassador Stepanek agreed on the importance of the historic relations between Kurdistan Region and the Czech Republic, and of strengthening collaboration in many areas.

They discussed developing parliamentary ties between their nations’ respective legislatures.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami gave the Czech Ambassador an overview of Parliament’s parties, women MPs and seats reserved for Kurdistan’s components.
