Order of Business for sitting of 9 November 2021

The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewaz Faiq calls MPs to a sitting on Tuesday 9th November 2021 at 11am, the sixth ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the third year of the fifth term of Parliament. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:

1) Voting on the following bills, per articles 90, 91, 93, 96 and 97 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure.

(i) Amendments to the application of Iraq Trade Law No. 30 of 1984 in Kurdistan Region - Iraq.

(ii) Bill on Production and Import of Seeds and Plants and Registration, Approval, and Protection of Agricultural Chemicals in Kurdistan Region - Iraq.

2) Presentation of and voting on Paragraph 2 of Article 4 of Law No. 8 of 2021 (First Amendments to the Law on the Rights and Privileges of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq, Law No. 2 of 2011), which was returned to Parliament by the Presidency of Kurdistan Region per Decision No. 10 of 2021, according to Article 95 (paragraph 1) of Parliament's internal rules of procedure.

3) Second reading of Amendments to the Law on the Missing and Disappeared in the Campaigns of Genocide against the Kurdistani People in Kurdistan Region - Iraq, Law No. 3 of 1999, per articles 87, 88 and 89 of Parliament's internal rules of procedure.

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraph 1), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and articles 47, 48, 52 (paragraph 1), 54, 55, 56 and 57.
