Parliament’s Presidency and heads of parties discuss key legislative issues

Kurdistan Parliament’s Presidency on 18 November 2021 held a meeting, chaired by Speaker Rewaz Faiq, with the heads of the parliamentary parties to discuss several key legislative and other issues.

Alongside Speaker Faiq were Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami and Secretary Muna Kahveci.

The Presidency and heads of blocs discussed the plight of the Kurdistani migrants in Belarus, reestablishing the Kurdistan Independent High Electoral Commission, reactivating the Kurdistan Constitution drafting committee, the Kurdistan Election Law, and the notes sent to Parliament’s Presidency on different matters.

The heads of the parliamentary blocs expressed their parties’ views on each issue.
